Community Medical Services is a rapidly growing organization with room for advancement. We have several locations in four states that provide opioid use disorder treatment and behavioral health services in the form of medication assisted treatment. 

As the IT Coordinator for Community Medical Services you will be responsible for the smooth running of all clinic computer equipment and systems.  In this visible and hands-on role, you will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our IT systems and programs, including setting up such in new clinics. This will be done by leveraging industry knowledge and experience to guide Community Medical Services through creative and transformational uses of technologies to deliver world-class support in a cost-effective manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned)

  1. IT Systems Management
    • Works with the Company's out-sourced IT services provider to troubleshoot Tier 1 level IT issues
    • Oversees project management of all IT related projects
    • Identifies and works with an IT power-user at each location
    • Develops and manages IT Policies and Procedures, including an IT continuity book
    • Facilitates all major software and EMR upgrades
    • Purchases IT equipment and services as needed for existing and new locations
    • Oversees IT setup of all new clinic locations
    • Manages relationships with external tech support at satellite locations
    • Facilitates weekly IT meetings with clinic managers
    • Manages QAQC for IT-related issues
    • Manage content of the Company's SharePoint page
  1. Contract Management
    • Monitors existing IT services contracts and ensures timely renewal of such contracts

 

COMPETENCIES

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including Office 365, SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and logistical management skills
  • Project management and problem solving/analysis skills
  • Experience with IT management in a multiple location clinical setting
  • Able to operate effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Able to accept occasional calls during off hours
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, rapid, sometimes unpredictable work flow

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/computer science, business management, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT/technology
  • Minimum 1-year experience in project management
  • Frequent travel, up to 25% (Current clinic locations in Arizona, Montana, North Dakota and Alaska)
  • Strong computer hardware and software knowledge
  • Systems thinking: ability to solve problems with the intent of preventing future problems and making solutions that are scalable
  • Must be relentlessly passionate about making a positive impact on the world and passionate about being a part of our mission of treating individuals who are struggling with behavioral health and substance use disorder issues
