Community Medical Services is a rapidly growing company with room for advancement. We currently have several locations in four states that provide substance use disorder treatment and behavioral services in the form of Medication Assisted Treatment to individuals with Opioid Use Disorder.   

As Front Office/ Office Manager for Community Medical Services' 24-hour Opioid Treatment Program, you will perform different tasks that help increase efficiency and serve clients quickly and respectfully.  Our 24-hour OTP is a high- volume, fast-paced environment with over 600 individuals coming in and out, and up to 20 intakes per day. 

Hours: Monday through Friday, 12:30pm- 8:30pm; Saturday and Weekend shifts available

As a Front Office/ Office Manager for Community Medical Services you will also: 

  • Manage lobby/ waiting room to maintain neat, clean and orderly appearance
  • Maintain client records confidentiality and maintain work area 
  • Maintain documents and schedule appointments  
  • Assist with client check ins, answering telephones, updating medical records, filling out insurance forms, and handle billing and bookkeeping 
  • Answer any client questions and refer clients to appropriate staff 
  • Attendance to meetings, trainings and decisions related to policy or procedures changes and other duties as assigned by Clinic Manager
  • Responsible to receive all fees for service from the private paying clientele, including maintaining accurate and complete financial records within computer system.
  • Responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail and faxes

Required Competencies and Qualifications

  • Culturally competent and sensitive to clients individualized treatment needs 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus work experience required
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and front office/ receptionist duties
  • Basic computer knowledge and knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) basics
  • Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively between all staff competencies and positions
  • Ability to interact with clients in a friendly, helpful, respectful, and courteous manner
  • Ability to resolve and assist with client altercations and crisis episodes
  • Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical facility management
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • Experience in behavioral health setting, preferably substance abuse treatment and crisis
  • Experience in Medication Assisted Treatment and
  • The desire to make a positive impact on the world, and a passion for serving those with behavior health issues and substance use disorder.
  • Bilingual a plus
